ACSAJ PROPOSES THE FOLLOWING:

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

Through proposed activities, children and youth (ages 4 to 18) participate in local church activities, weekly groups, residences (camps), special events, community participation and training programs. These activities are led by volunteers trained and supported to work effectively with children and young people in a Christian context. While working in Guadeloupe, we are part of a global organization set up and operated to reach more than one million people - children and young people around the world.
Our work is divided into four age groups and through our programs, we hope to make a difference, to contribute positively to the lives of young people and help them explore the Christian faith.

STUDENTS' ACTIVITIES

For students 15-18+ years old a 'Discover program' incites involvement in decision making, and learning new skills. A 'Challenge Plus' program focuses on planning and young people delivering their own program, learning life skills and children's and youth work leadership skills. Activities range from:  Community, Creativity and Skills, and other activities, including preparation and receipt of major awards, and annual residential (camps) local and International.

ADULT'S ACTIVITIES

Adults and Young adults give up their free time to volunteer because they want to make a difference. They want to give the young people opportunities to explore faith, to learn new skills, and to share in new opportunities . . . We have specific youth programs in our church, because they are a form of outreach into our community, bringing in people who perhaps wouldn’t come across the door.
If you are involved in contact work with children & young people you also don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Our four program resources contain important information about working with children & young people, as well as a wealth of ideas to keep your group
fresh and most importantly enjoyable for children, young people and leaders. These contemporary programs offer a firmly Christian-based means of working in a creative and relevant way using a balanced program of adventure and activity.
